Spawn 60 Degree Micro Jig Shanks
At Spawn we constantly strive to bring you products that will improve your fishing experience. Spawn Jig Shanks have already been responsible for some amazing catches around the globe. To advance and enhance that success we gave the Micro Jig Shanks a black nickel finish to reduce glare and visibility. We also used a slightly smaller wire to allow the use of a plethora of hooks, especially those more suited to trout and some smaller species. The neck of the shank has been downsized to pair perfectly with a smaller slotted bead and the eye has also been sized down for a more subtle look. Try the new Spawn Micro Jig Shanks and get bent without the extra calories.

These shanks work great with small trout hooks. The black nickel finish doesn’t reflect light, which helps in low visibility conditions. The smaller eye and neck fit perfectly with my slotted beads. I’ve used them on several trips and caught a few small trout with them.

I switched from regular shanks to these micro ones and noticed a difference in how subtle the setup looks. The 15 mm length is just right for my fishing style. Works well with smaller hooks and feels more natural in the water.

The fit is precise and the finish is smooth. I’ve used them in clear streams and they don’t show up as much as the standard shanks. Great for targeting smaller fish like dace and chub.
