8″ Dock Raider (Ready to Ship V2)
Length: 8″
Weight: 5oz
Sink Rate: Super Slow Sink and Slow Sink
I originally designed this bait to pitch the docks on Clear Lake and the Delta. There is a bounty of crappie that overlap these areas and big fish love to eat them, even in the winter in the deeper rocky haunts.
There are a few presentations that have worked well for me and guys I’ve worked with over the years. My favorite is pitching into the wind and bringing the bait into docks on the deeper edges and then picking it apart shallower. Another good presentation is throwing outside these docks to any isolated cover or weeds. Big fish will often travel between the two pinning fish on one obstacle or the other. Also pitching this bait in areas no one has touched and are hard to get to works. Be it docks, rocks, or weed lines, this bait performs well in structure-heavy zones.

FAQ
What types of water bodies is the Dock Raider best suited for?
The Dock Raider is designed for use in lakes and rivers with structure such as docks, rocks, and weed beds. It performs well in areas with cover, especially in deeper zones and near transitions between deep and shallow water.
How should I present the bait for maximum effectiveness?
Try pitching into the wind toward docks on deeper edges, then work it shallower. Throwing outside docks to isolated cover or weeds can also trigger big fish that move between cover points.
Is the bait durable and suitable for long-term use?
Yes, the Dock Raider is built to withstand regular use in varied water conditions and has proven reliable in both summer and winter fishing scenarios.

Nicola Clark –
Used this bait on Clear Lake during winter and caught several crappie on the deeper rocky edges. The slow sink helped it stay in place and attracted fish that were otherwise not biting. Great for targeting structure-heavy zones.
Cameron Ferguson –
Fished it near a dock in the Delta and saw fish move in after I picked it apart from deep to shallow. The presentation worked well and kept the fish engaged throughout the session.
Rose Short –
Found it effective in a previously untouched weed patch. The slow sink allowed it to sit naturally in the water, and big fish came in to take it. Highly recommended for cover-based fishing.
