Euro CDC Pheasant Tail-Tungsten (Barbless)
CDC is one of our favorite materials for nymphs. It moves like mini marabou and looks incredible underwater.
This pattern is tied much like a pheasant tail with cdc hackle for a great buggy look. Especially useful in slow water where the cdc can really dance.
Tied with a slotted tungsten bead on a 45 degree jig hook. A great option for those fishing Czech/Euro setups. Also great as a drop on in traditional nymphing setups.

The CDC pheasant tail moves beautifully in still water. It looks realistic and attracts fish in slow currents. The tungsten bead keeps it weighted properly without dragging. I’ve used it in both Euro and traditional nymphing and it’s a solid choice.

Great for slow water fishing. The movement is natural and the color stands out underwater. A bit more expensive than basic nymphs, but worth it for the performance.

I tied this on a 45-degree jig hook and it worked perfectly in a creek with low current. The CDC hackle gives it a lifelike flutter that fish respond to.
