Surffishtackle Jig Head 1/16th Ounce Red with White/Black Eye (10 ct)

1/8th ounce jig head designed for use with Big Hammer 2″ swimbaits and grubs. Tie directly to your main line and check often for fraying. Place swimbait on hook by inserting the sharp end of the hook into the middle of the body and out the flat side.

Fish the 2″ swimbait in bays, harbors, and along the open beach—especially near rocks. Cast out and allow the jig to reach the bottom. Bounce it along the bottom and hang on. Effective for sandbass, calico bass, spotted bay bass, barred surfperch, and the occasional corbina.

3 reviews for 1/16th Ounce Jig Head with White/Black Eye – 10 Count

  1. Jonathan Vaughan –

The jig heads are sturdy and the red color stands out in the water. I used them with the Big Hammer 2″ swimbait and caught several sandbass near rocky shores. Easy to attach and the hook holds well during casting.

  2. Jack McDonald –

Good quality for the price. Works well with my swimbaits in harbor areas. The white/black eye makes it easy to see when fishing at low light. Slightly heavier than expected, but still effective.

  3. Brian Slater –

Perfect for targeting spotted bay bass. The jig stays on the bottom well and the swimbait moves naturally. I’ve used them in open beach areas and they perform consistently.
