Complex Twist Bugger – Fall
With a streamlined conehead and plenty of marbou action, this streamer is an upgraded wooly bugger that has a bone to pick with the nearest trout.
A play on the ever-popular Wooly Bugger. This version uses certain techniques to give the traditional bugger a bigger profile to push more water and attract more fish. Devised by Clark “Cheech” Pierce from Fly Fish Food. This pattern is one of his go-to flies when chucking meat.

Una Churchill –
This fly caught a large trout in a fast current. The action is smooth and it stays on the surface well. Great for dry fly alternatives in riffles.
Deirdre Wilson –
Felt like a natural match for the current. The marbou movement draws fish in consistently. A solid upgrade over the standard Wooly Bugger.
Sam Morgan –
Used it during a late fall trip. Caught two fish in under 30 minutes. The profile is noticeable and the fly holds well in moving water.
