African Cichlid Elements•T mineral complex replenishes crucial minor and trace minerals lost to filtration and plants in African Cichlid and other Rift Lake fish habitats. It works especially well between water changes. It contains no heavy metals, phosphates, silicates, gluconates, or polygluconates.
Use in Aquarium Keeping
First add Continuum Basis African Cichlid Salts, as directed on the package, to RO, DI or dechlorinated and purified tap water to provide a hard water environment replicating conditions in the Rift Lakes. Use each time you set up a new aquarium or when you do a water change. Next, use Continuum Basis Victoria / Malawi Cichlid Buffer or Basis Tanganyika Buffer to adjust the alkalinity and pH to the recommended levels.
