FAQ
What makes the Juju Baetis Tungsten different from other Baetis patterns?
The tungsten weight insert provides better sink rate and stability in the water, allowing the fly to present more naturally and trigger strikes more effectively.
Is this pattern suitable for both dry fly and nymph fishing?
This pattern is primarily designed for nymph fishing, but it can be used effectively in dry fly presentations depending on water conditions.
Can the fly be used in cold or fast-moving water?
Yes, the tungsten construction ensures consistent performance in a range of water conditions, including cold and fast-moving streams.

This fly performs well in both slow and moderate currents. The purple color stands out in the water and attracts fish consistently. It’s durable and holds up well after multiple casts.
Angela Pullman –
I’ve used this pattern in several streams and it’s reliable for catching trout. The weight helps it stay on the bottom, which is great for nymphing in deeper areas.
Michelle Russell –
The design is accurate to the original Baetis pattern. It’s easy to tie and works well in both early morning and late afternoon fishing.
