This reel has proven reliable in both saltwater and spey conditions. The IPX8 rating holds up well even after several days of fishing in the ocean. The drag system is smooth and the handle is comfortable to grip for long sessions. I’ve used it in rough weather and it’s still performing well.

After switching from a lighter reel, I noticed a significant improvement in control and durability. The hard anodize finish resists corrosion, and the spool dries quickly after a long day on the water. A solid investment for serious anglers.

It’s built to last and performs consistently in heavy use. The only minor issue is that the drag knob can feel a bit stiff when adjusting under pressure, but overall it’s a dependable reel for daily fishing.
