Neptune Leak Detection Probe – Solid Surface (LD-2)
Plug this probe into your FMM and then place it on any surface where you want to detect stray water. Upon contact with water, this probe will communicate with your Apex and trigger alerts or other actions. Time is critical when it comes to water on the floor, so it is common to place two of these inside the stand and two outside the stand for maximum protection against a leaky aquarium.

Caroline Lee –
I installed two probes inside and two outside my aquarium stand. The system alerted me within minutes when a small leak started. It’s a reliable way to catch water issues early. Works perfectly with my Apex setup.

The probe is easy to set up and responds quickly to water contact. I noticed it picked up a drip from a loose pipe before it reached the floor. Very useful for preventing damage.

After a previous leak caused mold, I decided to add the LD-2 probes. They’ve been working flawlessly for three months. No false alarms, and I feel much more confident about my aquarium’s safety.
