Used this nymph in a cold spring run on a freestone river and caught a 10-inch brown trout. The white tuft and silver tinsel made it stand out in the current. Very natural movement and easy to cast.
Dominic Parsons –
Felt like a solid choice for midge patterns in a lake setting. The split foam back gives it a good float and it stayed on the surface well. A bit heavy in #18, but still effective.
Robert Paige –
Caught several large trout on the Miracle Mile using this pattern. The black body with silver tinsel and white hair mimics real midges well. Works great in both still and moving water.
