Seachem® Prime® Concentrated Conditioner for Marine & Freshwater (2 L)
Nearly all pet aquatics companies manufacture a product that removes chlorine. None of those, however, can compare in quality, concentration, or effectiveness to Seachem’s flagship product: Prime®. Prime® is the complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and saltwater.
Prime® removes chlorine and chloramine and detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. It is non-acidic and will not impact pH. A further bonus for the reef hobbyist—Prime® will not over-activate skimmers.
Prime® is up to 5 times more concentrated than competing products and is the second most concentrated dechlorinator on the market, only after aquavitro® alpha™. It may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia and nitrite toxicity. The product contains a binder that renders ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate non-toxic.

I’ve used Prime® in both freshwater and marine tanks. It effectively removes chlorine and chloramine without altering pH. During tank cycling, it helped reduce ammonia spikes. The product is very concentrated and lasts a long time. Easy to mix and works reliably.
Connor Roberts –
After switching from a cheaper dechlorinator, I noticed a significant improvement in water stability. The ammonia and nitrite levels dropped quickly after adding Prime®. It’s especially useful in new tanks. No issues with skimmer performance.

Good product, works well for chlorine and chloramine removal. The concentration is impressive and the detox effect on ammonia is noticeable. A bit expensive, but worth it for reef tanks where water quality is critical.
